Introduction

Hello! So this is Crimson Wings' first journal! It's a milestone! So, we guess the best way to celebrate this milestone is to introduce ourselves as this account is new to dA, though it's members are not.

How we started
So to start off, Crimson Wings cosplay group was created round about four of five years ago. Makes us feel old! Crimson Wings itself started off with only two members, ~PrincessMiya and =rinata-chan, but ~Lossien was quickly accepted into the group. We were all interested in anime from a young age with the introduction of Pokemon and Sailor Moon. As more anime was shown on television, we became more interested. ~Lossien happened to join the anime club in high school where they were planning a trip to AnimeNorth '03. It was at this point that ~Lossien became interested in cosplay. and ~PrincessMiya were interested by the following AnimeNorth and decided to attend as well. Our first group cosplay ever was Gravitation back in '05.

Where the name came from
The name came from a roleplay =rinata-chan and ~PrincessMiya were planning years ago with a friend. It happened to be the name of the band we came up with for a gravitation roleplay and we liked it so much that when it came time to chose a name for our cosplay group, it just rolled on in! We like the name because it has a lot of meaning behind it personally and a lot of symbollism. The innocence of angel's wings with crimson, or rather blood, on it. It's like sin and innocence. Deep? Yeah, but we really like the name.

Our first cosplays, individual and group-wise
We'll start off by saying, you will rarely ever see photos from our very early cosplays. It's like how it's embarrasing to show baby pictures to people, or something like that.
~Lossien's first cosplay was Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service! She even cut her hair for it! This astonished us back then.
=rinata-chan's first cosplay was Kagome from Inuyasha. She went around with ~PrincessMiya, Jess as Kikyo and Cynda as Kouga.
~PrincessMiya's first cosplay was Ayame from Inuyasha along with =rinata-chan
The group's first cosplay was Gravitation. ~Lossien as Ryuichi, ~PrincessMiya as Noriko, and =rinata-chan as Shuichi:.
